Welcome to Gallatin General Store.

​

We’re building a modern Montana general store located along the Jackrabbit Lane corridor between Belgrade and Four Corners.

​

Gallatin General Store brings together local makers and producers, pantry staples, secondhand clothing and goods, refills, and everyday essentials — all in one welcoming place. It’s designed for the regular rhythms of life: stocking the pantry, replacing what runs out, finding a gift, or picking up something useful on your way home.

​

Rooted in community and shaped by the people who live and work here, this is a space built for neighbors — showcasing locally made and grown staples, practical goods, and secondhand finds with life left in them.

We’re opening our doors Spring 2026, and we can’t wait to welcome you in.

We are seeking local producers and artisans.

Our goal is to showcase your products and connect you with customers. Below are some items we would be thrilled to offer in our store.

Food Producers

Shelf-stable, refrigerated, and frozen goods.

  • Bread and baked goods

  • Honey, jams, and preserves

  • Coffee, tea, and drink mixes

  • Simple snacks (granola, bars, trail mix)

  • Pickles, ferments, and pantry staples

  • Meats and jerky

  • Cheeses and dairy products

  • Eggs and milk options

  • Frozen or refrigerated local goods

  • Pet treats

Artisans/Makers

Handmade goods for the home, body, and everyday life.

  • Ceramic, wood, or metal home goods

  • Kitchen tools and serving pieces

  • Textiles, sewn goods, totes, and aprons

  • Wool/Alpaca goods (socks, hats, mittens)

  • Personal care products (soap, lotion, balm, deodorant)

  • Candles, matches, and home fragrance

  • Artwork, prints, and paper goods

  • Leather goods and accessories

  • Handcrafted utility items and small functional pieces

  • Outdoor-adjacent goods and repair items

Secondhand Contributions

We’re also sourcing secondhand items as part of building both our inventory and our space.

​

Passing things along is a simple way to keep items with life left in them circulating in our community and out of the landfill. We welcome secondhand contributions that are clean, in good condition, and ready to be used again. For furnishings and fixtures, we’re happy to accept project pieces as long as they’re sturdy and have good bones.

​

Our current wish list includes:

  • Clothing, shoes, accessories (ages 6 and up)

  • Glass jars and containers

  • Tables and display tables

  • Display cases and shelving

  • Bookshelves and baskets

  • Clothing racks and fixtures

  • Rugs

 

Many of the displays in the store will be reused and repurposed, right alongside secondhand clothing and goods. It’s all part of building a space that values reuse, sustainability, and community-minded choices.
